Community Updates from your Ward 6 Council Representative

Cobb Student Leadership Academy

October 2022 I had the pleasure of leading a parental discussion panel around helping middle school students develop leadership skills and become more civically engaged.

Semeka Samuels and her team held the 2022 Cobb Student Middle School Leadership Conference yesterday at Campbell High School, with students and parents from all across the county.

I recruited a few community experts to join the discussions! – Thank you to Council Member Dr Lewis Wheaton, SPF Chief Kenneth Durden, Smyrna Public Safety Foundation Ex Director Denise Czarnik for sharing their own experiences around leadership development and community involvement.

CSLA develops leadership skills within students and encourages them to positively impact their community. Check out http://www.cobbstudentleadershipacademy.com/
