The Smyrna Education Foundation announces The Smyrna School Essay Competition!

Who: Students from Campbell Middle School, Griffin Middle School, Pearson Middle School, and Campbell High School students

What: Entrants will submit a 1,000 word or less essay on the prompt – Write a persuasive essay encouraging teenagers to open a bank account.

When: Essays must be received via email by 5:00pm on Friday, April 15, 2024 at info@smyrnaeducationfoundation.org.

Ten (10) awards are to be given this year for a total of $2,500.
Campbell High School
One (1) $500 award, one (1) $400 award, one (1) $300 award, and one (1) $250 award
Campbell Middle School
One (1) $250 award and one (1) $100 award
Griffin Middle School
One (1) $250 award and one (1) $100 award
Pearson Middle School
One (1) $250 award and one (1) $100 award

The goal of the Smyrna Education Foundation Smyrna Scholars Essay Competition is to provide students attending Campbell Middle School, Griffin Middle School, Pearson Middle School, and Campbell High School the opportunity to showcase their writing abilities. This essay contest reflects the Smyrna Education Foundation’s commitment to the Smyrna community and its students.
